Every policy's balance, reconciled and backed by evidence

SOPAC Cobranzas takes production and collection documents in whatever format they arrive, matches them policy by policy and shows on a dashboard how much is owed, by whom and since when.

How it works

Four steps, from the document the counterparty sends to the balance on the dashboard.

  1. Step 1

    Intake

Documents arrive from each counterparty exactly as sent: bordereaux and remittances in Excel, tables in the body of an email, bank advices in PDF or screenshots.

  2. Step 2

    Preparation

Each document is identified by its digital fingerprint, classified (type, entity, period) and brought to a common format. Anything that cannot be read automatically is transcribed with a double check. Nothing is silently dropped.

  3. Step 3

    Load into SOPAC Cobranzas

The system builds each policy's movement ledger in its original currency, matches production against collections and runs the controls: arithmetic, exchange rates and totals against the bank.

  4. Step 4

    Dashboard

Results are available on the dashboard: total balance, by counterparty and by policy, ageing and deviations. Each case can be analysed in detail, with the policy's movements and the evidence in the files.

Double verificationEvery figure is calculated by two independent systems using the same written rules. It is published as verified only when both agree.

What the dashboard shows

Balances

How much is owed in total, by counterparty, by cedant and by policy, with ageing from binding. Always in original currency; the US dollar equivalent is used only for totals.

Deviations

Each difference states what it is, why it arose, who handles it and how to resolve it, with the file, sheet and row where it sits.

Controls

Automatic checks on every load: premium × percentage = collected, currency conversion and remittance total against the bank advice.

Updates

When a new document is loaded, the dashboard shows what changed: settled policies, new and resolved deviations, and the change in the balance.

Data handling

  • Original documents stay in a folder restricted to the project team.
  • In the system data is stored encrypted, and is read only after the access code is validated.
  • Files loaded on the dashboard are processed in the browser and are not sent to any server.
